Description
This review discusses how to identify patients who require an argon laser trabeculoplasty
(ALT), a laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI), or a laser capsulotomy; and how to perform and manage these routine laser procedures. These laser procedures are relatively safe with few risks and complications when properly performed and managed. The skills and knowledge required to perform the procedures are within the scope of optometry. |
