Description
This project details the design and construction of a binocular refraction system. In lieu of using the typical Snellen type vectographic slide and standard projector, this system will utilize two 35 mm slide projectors and obliquely crossed polarizing filters. The resulting projection on the exam room wall will be a picturesque color scene viewed stereoscopically
with letters superimposed in the light areas (sky) of the scene. All phases of the project ranging from darkroom techniques and stereo photography to the actual physical construction will be discussed. The end result will be a functioning projection system set up in a clinic exam room. |
