This epidemiological study is one of several recent attempts to try to categorize the visual characteristics of a given population. Previous projects have revolved around the eye clinics
at Ferris State College of Optometry and Jackson State Prison of Southern Michigan and their respective populations. To make better use of the data from these previous studies, however, it was hoped that eventually similar studies would be conducted at each of several different clinical rotation sites.
