Description
BSG-online simulation brings students into the managerial world of running a shoe company. My team, Company Bravo, pulls from our Ferris education to make changes weekly, which represents a fiscal year. Yet, growing the business is easier said than done. The factors of price and star-rating of the shoe, production capabilities, plant improvements. Total Quality Management and other organization-wide improvement programs, wholesale marketing, private-label, internet sales, celebrity endorsements, green initiatives, and many more drive success for the company. The first challenge arises from predicting what impact factors play on our company. The second challenge derives itself from conflicting views with our teammates (co-managers) for the future of the company. In managing the difficulties, teammates need to watch the market, study our classmates (competitors) progress, and understand the different regions that the company is working in. BSG-online captivates our student experience into research for understanding the complexity of branding a business.
