Associateship/Partnership: A Summary Of Michgan Optometric Association Seminar On perpetuating Private Practice.

Today more and more optometrists are turning to partnership/associateship as their primary mode of practice. Their reasons for this trend are many and diverse. A recent Michigan optometric Association seminar entitled "Perpetuating Private Practice" had a half a dozen optometrists talk on this very subject. This seminar presented a large variation of types of associateships and partnerships and the speakers told of their own personal experiences. The speakers were very candid in presenting both the advantages and disadvantages of partnerships and they all shared one common belief - Partnership is the best way to practice optometry.
